From the writing to the arranging and playing, they are eloquent and playful at the same time: I find their music endlessly fun. Also, all their records are cool. All of them.
Here's a guy I've been really inspired by lately. There's a lot to say about Roy, and it seems like everyone who knew him likes to talk about him. Some albums I've enjoyed hearing him on the most are: Peter Rowan "All on a Risin Day," Steve Earle "Train A Comin," Sweethearts of the Rodeo "Rodeo Waltz," Emmylou Harris and The Nash Ramblers "Live at the Ryman," John Hartford "Hartford, Rice, Clements" and Alison Krauss "Too Late To Cry."
